Some Quebec voters may have gone too far when criticizing Trudeau's recent invitation to women as a "sexist" affair.
Claims by the Conservative Party that Trudeau's $250 dollar-a-plate a invitation— a"women's night" soirée—is not, in my opinion, in any way sexist. Likewise, I cannot find any group of women, on any planet, who would accuse anyone of being sexist, for inviting women to a political event—in fact, it is exactly the opposite. Trudeau's invitation shows that he cares about women and Liberal women in Quebec. Like any politician, he is seeking the votes of women.
Perhaps the Conservatives should look closer at Montreals' mafia-dominant City Hall, and the past number of mayors and politicians who have been singled out for criminal activity. —Not to mention the drug and alcohol fueled rages and actions of Toronto's mayor Rob Ford, whose crack-smoking antics have reached new heights.
